To start out, I know zippo about electricity other than how to plug something in. When the plugs in my garage quit I was at a loss so I called Greg at Bayless Electric. Greg returned my call within minutes and very quickly explained to me what to do to fix the problem. The GFI needed resetting. Although the phone call was short it was still time out of his busy day. Unlike some reviewers of this business I am not a stranger to working with building trade contractors. Greg and his crew are as good as it gets. I found Bayless Electric through Generac's local contractor listing. I have owned Generac standby generators for over 20 years and wanted to install one as a replacement to a defunct generator at a home I purchased in Anacortes. From the outset, Greg was responsive, organized and punctual. I had him work up an estimate to replace the generator and transfer switch, as well as wrecking out some existing baseboard heaters, installing some lighting, and replacing the existing main service entrance breaker panel, which panel just looked, let's say "funky" to me and was a brand I had never heard of. When it came time to complete the work, Greg's crew were equally prompt and professional. During the installation, the home, which was built in the eighties, revealed a number of other "funky" features requiring change orders (one example: defunct yard spot lights wired directly into a feeder cable). The options to deal with these changes were clearly explained and I felt that the result was a simpler system with some very worthwhile and practical improvements. The pricing was also quite reasonable for these changes. Even more impressive, I plan to remodel a garage apartment that came with the home sometime soon. When I do, I know who I will call to do the electrical work. I'm very happy to have found a first rate local electrician!
Greg is the the only electrician that we will allow to work on our house! He is professional, knowledgeable, and on time. Despite being very busy, he always seems to find time to squeeze us in when we need some work done. He saved our house from the poor quality work of a fly-by night electrician and helped us install our electric heated floors, along with many other lighting and power needs. While not the cheapest electrical contractor, his work is definitely worth every penny we spent and you get what you pay for. Will definitely use him again.
We have had Bayless Electric do several projects in 2 different homes. Each time they have come out in a timely manner and done exceptional work. Each of the projects required several days of work as they were more complicated jobs. They showed up when they said they would and completed them within the promised time frame. We have a great deal of confidence in Bayless Electric and highly recommend Bayless them for any type of electrical work.
Bayless went above and beyond to help me fix my own screw up. Had his people come out on a Sunday to replace and repair my meter box and mast. I was up and running within a day of losing power. Highly recommend
