I didn't understand the appeal of this place other than to hunt. If you didn't hunt- there's not much here. But it looks amazing for duck or goose hunting!

Mind you, it is called Big Ditch for a reason, but this is a nice walk along a dike, with the canal and farmland on one side, and a large stretch of marsh and the sound beyond on the other. There were a multitude of eagles, hawks, great blue herons, and other birds to be seen for the length of the walk.

Not the greatest for hiking and the road seems to be closed when ever it's not hunting season
