I filled out the necessary forms online and brought a copy with me so check-in was quick. The location is easy to find. I was in a group of 10, equipping up was quick and well organized (harness and helmet) and the van trip to the starting point fine. The ziplining was done with two guides, one at the end point of each line and the other, in my case Josh, on the starting platform. He insured everything was done safely while keeping a fun attitude. Each segment has two lines using two trolleys and two support lines to the harness. Most of the platforms had signs explaining some of the history and the ecology of the area. There is some moderately steep walking between some stations, both uphill and then down hill. There is one plank bridge that has to be crossed. After the sixth zipline you drop down about 60 feet on a speed controlled rope. I think the total time from gearing up and dropping gear was about two hours. I was there on my 73rd birthday and as I was leaving I was stopped by the manager and offered a free gift, an up scale water bottle or a T-shirt. I took the T-shirt.
Fantastic time on our first date in 2013, went again for our 9th Anniversary and they did not disappoint. Great goofy guides, awesome lines and beautiful canopy. They even gave us cool shirts for our Anniversary.
We went in the afternoon on a nice day in April. It had warmed up by afternoon but they still had hot chocolate with the water at the middle course break and it was good. The zip lines start short and slow for the first two then get faster and longer. It’s not the most extreme zip line course I have done so a good course to try it out if your unsure if zip lines are for you and still enough to be fun for an experienced zip liner. The zip lines go through a nice second growth forest. They said there are often deer below in the morning but they had moved on by the time we went through. The gift shop has information about the family farm and some food produced from it. We got a nice herb Gouda. It’s creamy and the herb flavor really comes through in the finished cheese. We also got lavender fudge that was great and the lavender really comes through in that too. Good food and good times.
We had so much fun. It was a great way to wrap up my nephew's trip to WA. Josh, Stephanie, and Patrick were very friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and most importantly safe. This is perfectly accessible even if you have a moderate problem with heights because of their attention to safety.
Had an amazing time at Canopy Tours. The course instructors made me feel safe and had a great sense of humor. Great bonding experience for the group I was with.
