This was a very cute place if you sit in the court yard. The people were nice and the atmosphere was nice but the food was just okay. The fried rice was not fried all the way it still haf white rice in it and it tasted pain to me. My chow main was good tho and I enjoyed eating that. My husband got the spicy chicken and they asked how hot he would like it. He told them 4 star but it wasn't. It was maybe a 2 star for spice. It wasn't hot at all and he was disappointed.

We had dinner there early last Friday evening. We ordered our dinners which came to our table warm not hot Half way thru our dinner my girlfriend noticed a long black hair in her fried rice. I pointed it out to our waitress who apologized for it and asked to see the manager The manager came to our table and I told her what we had found she said she has had the restaurant there for 30 years and no one had ever complained about anything. Evidently she lives in a dream world . I asked her why her employees were not wearing hair nets or at least have their long black hair pulled back and she didn't even answer the question. We will not come back for dinner there again period.

Most food here is very good. The cashew chicken is loaded with nuts and flavorful. The atmosphere is dimly lit and relaxing. A good Stanwood go to!

Had the kung pao chicken and hot & spicy noodle soup. Both were outstanding! Fresh ingredients and so flavorful. Enjoyed every bite!!

The soup alone deserves 6/5 stars. They could have done everything else wrong and I still would have given a 5 star review. Fortunately, they did not, and it was great. The two of us shared a combo meal - soup, appetizer, pork fried rice, Mongolian beef, and orange chicken. The fried rice didn't have a lot of flavor, but that was fine because it complimented the robust flavors of the beef and chicken well. The waitress was friendly and attentive, though she was also attending to several large groups. Walked out the door for $48 including tax and tip, stuffed to the brim, with enough leftovers for two more meals. That kind of value seals the deal for me. Absolutely will return. Seriously, that soup. If you don't try it then you haven't really lived.
