This is a little piece of paradise in the Pacific Northwest here in Stanwood Washington right outside of Camano Island. Great place to bring your dog just make sure you bring a leash & doggie bags. Amazing panoramic views of the North Cascades & distant islands on the horizon. So beautiful & peaceful. I would recommend this natural federal reserve to nature enthusiasts & dog lovers!

Beautiful preserve area that is off leash for dogs. There are only a few parking spaces available at the beach. However additional parking spots about half way up the hill if you are okay with hiking back. The steep grade of the hilly road is for experienced bicyclists. If you're at leisure riders probably want to drive to beach instead.

The trail was closed , a small foot bridge had been tossed aside, it might be too muddy, but the beach was perfect! Tidepools at lowtide , lots of sunlight! Sparsely populated with people..(COVID times!) a fabulous panorama of the snow capped Olympics..dog friendly place.

Easy to find, super small county park. We had beautiful views of the mountains and water. The trail is very short (maybe because the tide was coming in?), but we had fun still. Be forewarned, there are no garbage or human bathroom facilities. Pack your garbage out please.

Really nice relaxing county park. The view of Cascades/MtBaker is amazing.
There is a picnic structure and a mobile restroom.
