The place is great to take a stroll, do some clam digging and just taking a deep breath of the place. It's pretty chill and really just a good area to relax the eyes and mind. Lots of parking on the area.
Tillicum Beach is a public beach park located on the southern coast of the island of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The park features a large sandy beach that stretches for several hundred meters along the coast, as well as a playground and picnic areas. The park is surrounded by lush rainforest and is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, deer, and raccoons. The park also offers a campground with a mix of tent and RV campsites, many of which are located close to the beach. Amenities include showers, flush toilets, and a fire pit. Tillicum Beach is a popular destination for swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing. The park also offers recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking and fishing
This is just a tiny gap in the row of houses that gives you access to the beach. It’s a great spot to put in your kayak. No signs designating the park. Room for only about 4 cars.
This beach just looks like a beach for the local area residents and we didn't stay very long. The Camano Island State Park is much better for a beach day trip.
