Beautiful place. Came on a dry, semi sunny Saturday around 1pm. Was not busy at all. There was plenty of parking, but I can see it filling up quickly during the summer or when the weather is beautiful. My kids enjoyed the beach. Mostly rocks and a little bit of sand.
Saw an owl perched on sign which was very beautiful! My family and I have never seen an owl in real life before. The hobbit trail was a fun feature! It was very muddy and we did not wear the proper shoes. There are also other trails on the reserve but again it was muddy. Make sure to bring appropriate shoes.
Highly recommended and on our list of places to visit again and again for a beautiful sabbath afternoon.

A new place for me, couldn't see much because of the fog. But it was peaceful....any time spent by the beach/ocean is a good time! I was able see some swans in the distance, and a hunting hawk(didn't get a picture-but I did watch him for 5-10 minutes)

Beautiful spot! We only explored the beach this trip and plan to return again. Set back from the beach were some picnic tables which was a great spot to eat lunch.
Parking was limited. The park is adjacent to private property so be sure to stay in the public beach areas. No bathrooms or water on site but there was a port-a-potty.

This is a cool, dog-friendly park with a ton of driftwood and fantastic, scenic water views. The hobbit trail is fun, especially with young children. Just try to avoid it if it has recently rained— the trail gets muddy.

I love taking my kids here. It's a short loop trail. While you're there, check out the hobbit trail. Views are spectacular. Good place to relax and spend the whole afternoon by the water!!
