Place used to be amazing . Used to stop by everyday but now they have new people they don’t know how to make anything. Coffee tastes like sugar water. Sad to see this place go downhill
Lot of coffee stands in Stanwood, Locals is the original and a local favorite. We hadn't been there in some time as there are coffee shops closer to home. They put together a great iced coffee.
It's no wonder why Locals consistently has a line -- their coffee is sublime! The service is quick and cheerful, and during rush periods they'll sometimes use the first drive-up window for even faster brewing. Adore the quirky, retro branding and certainly enjoy supporting a local (ha), homegrown business. Keep an eye out for specials, and ask to see the hugely extensive syrup flavor menu if that's what you fancy. They have beautiful Lotus drinks, too! Definitely worth a few stops. ;D
They have a lot of specialty drinks and a long line to match. If your just looking for no frills coffee I'd head to a less crowded spot. The coffee here is good but it's also good a lot of other places. If your looking for something more fancy, then spend your time here
This is my standard stop before leaving Stanwood. The espresso drinks here are generally good, though the consistency of taste varies compared to what you would expect from a chain coffee shop. Lines are often quite long, so plan to wait.
