Have been going to Saal consistenly since they opened right before the pandemic and through it all they have never failed to impress! Truly the epitome of embracing & supporting the local community along with offering awesome food, drinks, all in an inviting unique environment! - Food has rarely failed to impress and you can taste the difference. Wide variety of menu options for all preferences using fresh local ingredients. From classic hamburgers, one of their special sandwiches, the vegan Chickpea Curry Dip appetizer, my favorite the blackened fish tacos, killer sweet potato fries, you can't go wrong basically anything. Holy smokes it's all good! (And speaking of smoke, did I mention they smoke many of their own meats too?) - Diverse drink menu with a wide variety of local beers, ciders, and even kumbucha on tap. They also fill howlers/growlers. The staff and owners have always been incredibly welcoming and friendly. Saal is a place where you feel like family. Love the fact they they have been able to save and embrace the historic Stanwood Fire House as part of their community oriented mission. If you're in the area, go check out Saal whether it be for a quick bite, drinks, or some conversation. You won't be disappointed.
Stopped in for a beer and a meal tonight. Very impressed with the place. Great vibe and really good food. My beer expert was also very impressed with the stout, top notch! As a Canadian I have a hard time finding what I consider a good poutine. SAAL nails it!
Saal's is a great place to meet up with a couple friends. The waitress was especially friendly, kind, and customer oriented. Definitely will be back.
Great drinks, food, and service. It's set up really nice, you can sit either outside under a tent or inside. The man who serviced us was extremely nice. My husband and I got the Poutine which was delicious, fries were a little too salty but still great. They don't offer flights but you can get 10oz if you don't want a pint. Bathrooms are clean and so are all the tables when you walk in. Dog friendly! Highly recommend!
Awesome!! This place has the most amazing food! The bacon jam burger is bomb and the fish taco and really everything is beyond delicious! Has nice inside seating, kid and dog friendly and you can even sit outside. Staff is very friendly and our course really good beers best light beer we have had in a long time. Must place to go to!!
