The gal helping us was so sweet and interacted with our 4 month old baby. It wasnt super busy so our food came out fast! (When your new parents and have errands to run in a new neighborhood and are starving..) it makes a world of difference to get a quick late breakfast!
Awful... Ordered a cinnamon roll that was practically inedible. Their attempt at cream cheese icing was gross and the roll was SUPER dry/hard. The service was slower than molasses in winter. Their "whole weat" pancake was actually a buckwheat pancake. So, expectations for a standard breakfast were not met...at all. This place may be good in a pinch, but I would avoid it if possible 😞
I’m curious if this place has new owners ? Seems to be a different atmosphere. Still very friendly staff , however the food does not seem to be what it use to be .. today there were just to many things wrong unfortunately. Would I go back again . Yes I would give it another go .. I believe every place has room for improvements .
Great food and always popular. Parking limited but there is parking across the street as well. Menu expansive and breakfast is served all day which is always a plus. Service can be a little slow when busy but never annoyingly so.
Great old fashioned slice of American Country Cafe, reminds me of happy times stopping along the highway on the way to my grandma's house with my parents/brothers in the 60's. Sunday, we went for a drive out of Seattle just to enjoy the day and I looked up cafes with good ratings. This was a great find and will return for breakfast again. Food was delicious especially the pancakes, very good portions ( probably too much), atmosphere was really nice, friendly, cozy. Wait staff were very attentive and cheerful. Short wait but worth it (10 minutes). And drove wind-y old highways up and back for more relaxing day. What better way to spend a couple hours together.
